Conversations are powerful. That’s what struck me from this article from Relevant magazine, “Why Mark Zuckerberg’s Meeting with Pastors is So Significant.”

• Conversation changes people
• Conversation fosters connections, especially when we spend more time asking questions and listening than expressing our opinions.
• Jesus asked more questions than he answered.

Zuckerberg’s conversation with pastors was powerful. More powerful yet, though, are the powerful possibilities in all the conversation opportunities we have every day, within and beyond the church.

Acts of serving, whether formal volunteering or impromptu helping out, makes conversation all the easier!
